![]() I don't understand how so many players are able to start an army of 100+ troops in just a few hours when it took me days to get to that point. This is the 4th time i've tried to start a kingdom and again, I failed. Even if they don't attack my castle, my village just ends up getting burned and I have no source of income. All of my units just get sliced through like soft butter. I can't hire enough fresh, experienced troops in time before my only castle starts getting besieged, and I have no idea how to counter the Nordic infantry. Even my highest tier cavalry units just get dunked on the second they charge from the rear of the enemy. Everybody was getting one shot left and right. Even though I took a strong defensive position on the hills, my archers did ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and my infantry was completely useless. However the next army I faced was filled with a bunch of high tier nord units. I tried luring the individual lords armies one by one and I was able to defeat one of them while only taking minimal casualties. Not even a full day later, 3 stacks of Nords come to take my castle, and there is absolutely nothing I can do. After the battle I had about hundred or so units in my army. ![]() I was able to take the castle fairly easily and only lost a handful of my best units. ![]() I am friendly with Swadia and many of their lords and am also cooperative with the Rhodoks, so both of my neighbors should hopefully not declare war on me. I just recently started a kingdom by capturing Tevarin Castle, which was siezed by the Nords early in my campaign. I play very conservatively, and it takes me several hours just to get to the point to where I have a fair amount of right to rule and honor to actually get anything going. I have almost 100 hours in this game, but for the entirety of that playtime, I have never been able to successfully start a Kingdom. ![]()
